The “TIBURON,” a 31-foot Bertram, with Captain Jesus Romero and Mate Carlos Santos, headed to the Golden Bank where their anglers, Ángel David, Elizabeth Galvez, and Ruth Magpoc, caught and released Two 80 to 100-pound Striped Marlin on mackerel. The fight was intense, the marlins putting up a good struggle before being released back into the ocean. What a day! They came into the dock with smiles, recounting the thrilling experience.

Eric Schroff, Kelly Harper, Tom Laitala, and Tyler Collins embarked on the “TRACY ANN” with Captain Julio Castro and Mate TracyAnn Raul Leal to the San Jaime Bank. Their day was filled with laughter and enjoyment as they caught Eight 15-pound Yellowfin Tuna on lures and bait. They had a successful day of fishing and a great time on the boat with their crew, Captain Julio and Mate Raul Leal. They were eager to return for more fun-filled fishing trips.

The “LA CHINGONA 2,” a 64-foot Viking with Captain Tony and Mates Tony, Jr. and Luis, headed straight to the Golden Bank with their group, Ken Luce, Madison Alexander, Nancy Luce, and Robert Luce, where they caught and released Three Striped Marlin in the 90 to 100-pound range on bait, and One 30-pound Wahoo on Ballyhoo.

On the “BILL COLLECTOR II,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, Captain Juan C. Lopez and Mate JC Martinez
enjoyed meeting their group from Lakeville, Minnesota, and the Lakeville group liked their crew immediately. Brent Buumlex, Greg Diblik, Jay Piper, Jeff Bafir, Scott Meyer, and Tom Gonzales were thrilled to catch Six 10 to 14-pound Yellowfin Tuna on bait as they ran 12 miles outside the Lighthouse. Those tuna never stood a chance. The Minnesota anglers had the tuna into the boat in moments, laughing while they pulled on them. It was a fun day.

"CALIENTE," a 42-foot Cabo Flybridge


Captain Jaime G. and Mate Luis running the “CALIENTE,” a 42-foot Cabo Flybridge, ran 35 miles to the 180 to get Six 10 to 14-pound Yellowfin and One 35-pound Wahoo also on Ballyhoo 35 miles from the 180. Jaime Gonzales from Cabo San Lucas was the angler.

“MY WAY,” a 48-foot Viking, with Captain Arturo and Mates Daniel and Josue, hosted Brandon Cahoone, J.D. Zoeglman, Josh Hamlin, and Tyler Schmidt from California. They caught and released One 120-pound Striped Marlin, One 80-pound Thresher Shark, and Two 20-pound Yellowtail Tuna. The diverse range of catches kept them intrigued and excited throughout the day, making it a memorable fishing experience. "VALERIE," a 35-foot Bertram


“VALERIE,” 
a 35-foot Bertram, where Captain Roberto Sandez and Mate Charlyhad their clients Chic McSherry, George Robson, Joan Grievf, and Sue Clarke found Thirty 3 to 4-pound Sierra on cuchy, Two 15-pound Roosterfish, One 4-pound Bonito, and Two 8-pound Yellowtail, about 6 to 8-pounds all on bait, and all at the Migriano. They enjoyed every moment.

On the “TIBURON,” a31-foot Bertram, run by Captain Orlando and Mate Carlos Santos, their anglers, Brant Russell, Eric Gilmore, and Rich Boehm, caught Two Dorado weighing 18 and 28 pounds on feathers 10 miles to the 180 Spot and Six 8 to 10-pound Yellowfin Tuna on bait and feathers in the same area. To say they had a great time would be an understatement! They had a fantastic time!

"RUTHLESS," a 31-foot Bertram, with Captain Jesus Romero and Mate Mario

Twenty-One Yellowfin Tuna, weighing 8 to 12 pounds, can take the breath out of an angler, as it did Mark Alexander from Eldridge, Iowa.  He caught them on bait and feathers on the “RUTHLESS,” a 31-foot Bertram, with Captain Jesus Romero and Mate Mario, 30 miles to the 220 Spot. He also caught one 18-pound Dorado on a feather at the same location. Mark was exhausted when he returned to the dock. He was the sole angler on the boat, but he was elated. It had been an excellent day!

Michael Nadeau from Boise, Idaho, when he exited the “ANDREA,” a 28-foot Uniflite D2, with Captain Raul and Mate Marcelo. was a single angler on board, and he caught Twenty-Five 4-pound Sierra, One 5-pound Amberjack, and Two 5-pound Yellowtail, all on bait at the Migriano. Grinning from ear to ear, his countenance proved he was a happy angler when the fishing day was done!

 "BLUE MARLIN II," a 31-foot Bertram


“BLUE MARLIN II,” a 31-foot Bertram, with Captain Victor and Mates Josue and Lalo, took the Missoula, Montana group, David Peppenger, Gabriel Peppenger, and Spencer Peppenger 21 miles outside of the two Lighthouses, where the anglers caught One 20-pound Dorado and Ten 12-pound Yellowfin Tuna on bait. Immediately, the anglers and crew enjoyed a genuine camaraderie, and the day was full of laughter and fun. The Peppengers vowed to return to fish another day!

The “Panga Anamar II,” a 24-footer with Captain Jose Calavera, took two California anglers, James Meyer and Timothy Meyer, to the Lighthouse, where they caught and released Four 12-pound Roosterfish on caballito. The Meyers enjoyed fishing the roosters. It was a pleasure to watch the roosters streak through the water, and they hoped to return soon to try their hand at fishing for the unusual critters again.

KARINA," a 30-foot Bertram, run by Captain Bruce M. and Mate Jorge Velez

KARINA,” a 30-foot Bertram, run by Captain Bruce M. and Mate Jorge Velez, decided to go to the La Brecha. There, their three anglers, Brent With, Chad Hendricks, and Neil Hamann, from Idaho, caught Twenty Sierra weighing 4 pounds on bait and a Rapala and Two 120-pound Striped Marlin on Caballito. The weather was perfect, the boat ride was excellent, and the fishing was fun. Overall, the day was an easy fishing day, relaxing and enjoyable.

On the 64-foot Viking, the “LA CHINGONA 2,” Captain Tony Bojorquez and Mates took their California fishers, Eva Perez, Hector Perez, Holly Kolar, and Matt Kolar, to the La Brecha and the Margaritas. They caught and released One 110-pound Striped Marlin on bait at the La Brecha and Two 5-pound Bonito on feathers at the Margaritas. They also caught two nice-sized yellowtails on yoyo’s at the Margaritas. The boat was beautiful, and the Captain and mates were attentive to their client’s needs. It was a perfect Cabo day!  

"LA BRISA," a 31-foot Bertram

 “LA BRISA,” a 31-foot Bertram with Captain Ray Winkler at the Helm and Mate Jesus Winkler running the cockpit. They took their clients, Arielle Prichard, Henry Cohen, Josh Cohen, Mitch Cohen, and Michael Prichard, to the Golden Gate area, where the anglers caught One 110-pound Striped Marlin on bait and Twenty-One Sierra up to 5-pounds in the same area. There was laughter, fun, and even more noise as they caught their fish, and the whole day seemed to pass by too quickly!

"ANDREA," a 28-foot Uniflite

From Reno, Nevada, P Hal Kennedy chartered the “ANDREA,” a 28-foot Uniflite, with Captain Fernando Noyola and Mate Marcelo. He caught Ten Yellowfin Tuna up to 8 pounds on bait at the 220 Spot. What a day he had!!!

 “TRACY ANN,” a 31-foot Bertram with Captain Julio Castro and Mate TracyAnn Raul Leal, had three anglers aboard their boat. Kirby Hlabty, Robert Oakley, and Susan Oakley caught and released Two Striped Marlin weighing 110 pounds on Mackerel at the La Brecha Spot.
