Up the Pacific from Cabo San Lucas to Todos Santos

Having friends in town is always a great excuse to have a tour around Baja and visit places, which I always wish I had the chance to visit more often. This past weekend we decided to take our friends for a fun tour from Cabo San Lucas to Todos Santos, and show them some of our favorite spots and Baja lifestyle.
Passing the Pacific coastline on our new 4-lane highway, we stopped at Pescadero, a lovely village with great vibe. My favorite place there is Baja Beans Roasting Co., where they serve and sell their own Baja Beans coffee, home made pastry and cakes, and prepare delicious meals. To my taste, they produce the best organic coffee in Baja Sur. If you are in town don’t miss to visit them on Sunday, when they have live music and a vivid Sunday market.
In Pescadero we stopped by at the beautiful beachfront lot we have or sale at Pisces Real Estate, Rancho El Patron. With over 9 acres of land and existing casitas with beachfront access and proximity to the highway, Los Cabos Cerritos and Todos Santos, it makes an ideal location for an investment in Baja.
From Pescadero the road lead us up to Cerritos beach, which is my family’s favorite spot for some beach fun and active lifestyle. I love to surf at Cerritos, as it has a smooth sandy beach, and you can surf it almost any time of year. If you have always wanted to learn how to surf, but never had the chance to do so, come to Cerritos beach – they had great surf instructors, who will have you up and surfing in less than a day! I promise! We like to visit the Cerritos Surf Colony. If you are not up for surfing, I recommend a horse back ride – my kids love it!
After a fun day at the beach, we decided to explore beautiful and colorful Pueblo Magico, Todos Santos. We took a stroll around the town plaza and nearby galleries, and decided to wrap up the day at the famous Hotel California. The legend goes that this is the place that the Eagles sing about in their popular song. Wether that is true or not, I invite you to come see for yourself. Todos Santos is lots of fun any time of year. They have a well established Film Festival, Art Festival, Music Festival (organized by Peter Buck from R.E.M.), local runs, races and so much more.
If you would like to learn more about Todos Santos or get more tips for things to do in Baja’s Pacific area, please send us an email to email@example.com. I’d be glad to share with you some of my favorite spots.
