Early December saw good conditions for Cabo boats, with calm seas and temperatures in the 70s and low 80s. Marlin were abundant with anglers on the “CALIENTE,” releasing 24 Striped Marlin on Saturday, and multiple boats releasing up to 12 throughout the rest of the week. Anglers from the U.S. and Canada landed double-digit Yellowfin Tuna, plus Dorado and Wahoo, enjoying steady bites over several days. However, a reminder that surprises still lurk offshore, even in December, came with the release by the “ANDREA” of an estimated 280 to 300-pound Blue Marlin, and another released on the “KNOT WORKIN” that weighed around 200 to 220 pounds.
With calm seas and cooperative fish, the Pisces Fleet delivered another week of unforgettable experiences for visiting anglers.
