With clear skies, calm seas, and water temperatures holding steady in the upper 70s to low 80s, this past week delivered prime fishing conditions across Cabo waters. The fleet saw consistent action on Yellowfin Tuna, highlighted by multiple double-digit catches, while Striped Marlin remained the stars offshore with several boats releasing impressive numbers. Dorado and Wahoo added variety to the mix, and a standout Blue Marlin weighing in at 474 pounds reminded anglers of the season’s big-game potential. From family groups to visiting anglers from across the U.S. and Canada, the week was marked by camaraderie, memorable battles, and a showcase of the diverse species that make late November such a rewarding time to fish with Pisces.

Abigail and Justin Bosma, from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, chartered the “ADRIANA,” a 28-foot Uniflite, captained by Frank with Mate Arturo.
They headed 23 miles to the 210 Spot, where they caught 17 Yellowfin Tuna weighing between 15 and 40 pounds on bait. This was a day to remember for Abigail and Justin.
On the “RUTHLESS,” a 31-foot Bertram, Captain Beto Lira and Mate Chuy Romero took Brandon Schmidt to a spot 20 miles from the Great Alegre, where he caught seven Yellowfin Tuna ranging from 30 to 50 pounds on bait and lures.

Captain Fernando and Mate Brian, who run the “ANDREA,” a 28-foot Uniflite, welcomed aboard enthusiastic clients, Ashley and Joey Minvielle from Youngsville, Louisiana. They ran to the Los Arcos Spot, where they caught and released five 90- to 100-pound Striped Marlin and one 22-pound Dorado, all on mackerel. It was a fun, rewarding day for all.

Aaron Schoor Lemmer, Kaitlyn Clarke, Karl Ellis, Mike Waswluk, Morgan Ellis, Myles Campbell, and Nicole Wald Tyler, from Clarke City, Alberta, Canada, chartered the “CALIENTE,” a 42-foot Cabo Flybridge with Captain Jaime at the Helm and Mate Silverio running the cockpit. They caught and released six Striped Marlin weighing up to 120 pounds on mackerel at the Lighthouse and the Los Arcos Bank.

Captain Erick Orozco and Mate Hot Rod Jose Ramiro Ramirez run the “HOT ROD,” a 42-foot Cabo Flybridge. They headed straight to the Los Arcos Bank, which proved productive, and their guests from Dalton, Georgia, Drew Davis, Gardner Gallegly, Harris Gallegly, Jack Gallegly, and Matt Gallegly, caught and released eight Striped Marlin that weighed from 90 to 160 pounds on mackerel at the Los Arcos Bank. Happy anglers left the “HOT ROD” that day, reflecting the excellent fishing conditions and fleet activity.

P Joseph Minútelo, Olivia Minútelo, and Vincenzo Minútelo, from Tierra Verde, Florida, chose the “REBECCA,” a 31-foot Bertram run by Captain Chuy Romero and Mate Macelo. They caught two Dorado weighing 15 and 23 pounds on a lure and mackerel, and nine Yellowfin Tuna, weighing between 20 and 37 pounds on bait and lures, all taken outside the Lighthouse. It was a fun, successful day of fishing.

“CHASIN TAIL” is a 62-foot Viking with Captain Pepe and Mates Ulises, Hamo, and Yuyo in charge. They had Californians, Beau Crosetto, Callie Wray, Dante Crosetto, Nic Wray, Noah Crosetto, Trevor Olson, and Tyler Olson aboard, who fought and released four Striped Marlin (90 to 120 pounders) on mackerel, one 15-pound Dorado, also on mackerel, and one Bonito on a lure, all at the Los Arcos.

Captain Roberto Sandez and Mate Salvador Flores welcomed Maria Bledsoe and Yelena Kaganov aboard the “VALERIE,” a 35-foot Bertram, for a Half-Day trip. They hit the jackpot with a 474-pound Blue Marlin that they caught with curry at the Las Antenas Spot. Everyone on the boat wore a smile that day!
Dominik Lutzenberger had quite a day on the “ADRIANA,” a 28-foot Uniflite, with Captain Frank at the Helm and Arturo L. overseeing the cockpit. Dominik caught eight 12 to 25-pound Yellowfin Tuna on lures and bait at the Jaime Bank, one 44-pound Wahoo on a lure at the Migrino, where they caught and released one 250-pound Blue Marlin on a lure, also at the Migrino.

“TRES TEJAS,” a 60-foot Valhalla, with Captain Arturo running the boat for Francisco Montelongo, from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, who caught (and released) six Yellowfin Tuna from 20 to 40 pounds at the San Jaime, and also caught and released two 100 to 120-pound Striped Marlin at the Los Arcos. Needless to say, Francisco enjoyed a great day of fishing with Captain Arturo.
Captain Carmelo and Mate Carlos on the “EL CAZADOR,” a 29-foot Black Fin, welcomed the Berry family, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, who were eager to catch a marlin. Not only did they catch one, but they caught and released two Striped Marlin weighing approximately 100 and 120 pounds on mackerel at the Lighthouse.

On the “YAHOO,” a 42-foot Bertram, with Captain Jose Escamilla-Yahoo at the wheel, Brian Lowell and Carolyn Gress caught ten Yellowfin Tuna weighing up to 30 pounds on bait and feathers at the San Jaime.

“MY WAY,” a 48-foot Viking with Captain Arturo and Mates Daniel and Josue, had a full house with Hannah Huddleston, Hayden, and Janna Burke, Michael H. Huddleston, Michael J. Huddleston, Robert Burke, and Susan Huddleston. The group caught five Wahoo, weighing 25 to 35 pounds, on Rapalas at Los Arcos.

On Thanksgiving Day, the “EL CAZADOR,” a 29-foot Black Fin, with Captain Carmelo and Mate Luis in charge, and chartered by Sta Elyssa, Pak Joshua, and Kim, from Los Angeles, California. The trio caught and released one 100-pound Striped Marlin on a mackerel 10 miles from the Cerro, and two Yellowfin Tuna weighing from 20 to 25 pounds 10 miles outside the del Cerro.
Frequent visitors, Jim and Ann Anderson from Reno, Nevada, chose the “CHASIN TAIL,” a 62-foot Viking, run by Captain Pepe, and Mates Hammo and Ulises. They caught and released two Striped Marlin weighing around 90 to 100 pounds on mackerel at the Pedregal and eleven Yellowfin Tuna between 20 and 50 pounds on bait and feathers six miles east of the San Jaime. But their Gran Finale was when they caught and released a Blue Marlin weighing approximately 290 to 300 pounds on a Rapala at San Jaime. They had a special day to be thankful for at their Thanksgiving Dinner!
As November comes to an end, the Pisces Fleet showcased the remarkable consistency and diversity that Cabo waters offer this time of year. From steady Yellowfin Tuna hauls to standout Striped Marlin releases, and even a trophy Blue Marlin tipping the scales at nearly 500 pounds. Anglers experienced the full spectrum of offshore excitement. Calm seas and clear skies made for ideal outings, while visiting families and groups from across North America added their own stories to the week’s tally. With conditions holding steady and the bite showing no signs of slowing, anticipation continues to build for December—promising more action, more camaraderie, and more unforgettable catches with Pisces.
