Captain Frank and Mate Jesus R. readied their boat, the "ADRIANA," a 28-foot Uniflite

The joy of being a Pisces skipper is knowing that you are following the traditions of your father, his father, and his ancestors before him. There is a powerful connection to those who have charted these same waters before you, who were careful to return fish too small to make a meal back to the water, so it had a chance to grow and multiply. Each voyage is a tribute to your ancestors, who taught you the art of fishing, of conservation, and whose weathered hands guided the boats through countless hours and storms. The stories of adventure and resilience echo in your mind, enriching every journey with meaning. This lineage not only sharpens your skills and instills confidence but also brings a sense of responsibility to uphold the proud legacy of those who have fished before.
Some days, the Sea of Cortez feels like it whispers secrets, and if you are quiet enough, you might hear one.

Captain Abraham and Mates Cesar and TaÑo decided to take the “KNOT WORKIN,” a 35-foot Cabo Flybridge, to the 210, where there would probably not be too many boats. When their guests from Haslet, Texas, boarded the boat, they agreed with the plan, and off they went. Twenty-five miles out to the 210, they began catching fish! They caught and released 11 Dorado to 25 pounds on lures, 10 Yellowfin Tuna from 10 to 70 pounds on bait, and the Kite, and three Sierra on cuchi. What a day it was!

As they headed in, they passed around a few cold beers, and with the fish stories beginning, they swapped a few tall tales. They howled with laughter when the tales became too far-fetched, but it was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
